Inner symmetry/light-sound installation
All the fundamental theories of Physics nowadays contain certain symmetries. The basic principles of symmetry govern the basics of the Physics Laws and define primary Laws in nature.
ITS has three, formally almost symmetrical rooms. Yet, it is not the absolute symmetry therefore my intention is to activate the viewer by importing the special geometrical drawing and sound to participate in harmony. The basic for feeling the symmetry is the synergy between the inner self of the viewer and the spatial geometry rhythms within the space that he/she physically steps into. With the title ‘inner symmetry’, I wanted to give a clue and point out how to perceive the space.
Harmonic sound that fills the ITS space would be the engine of the non-formal symmetry and the initiator for of the inner space and the space that the viewer walks through. The gallery space contains geometrical drawings that trace the path for the viewer who is sensitive to space for him/her to reach the potential symmetry. That makes the viewer to become an active participant of the spatial installation for he/she has the chance to enter the inner structure, walk into the drawing field and, for I shape the void of the space and not concrete material form, to form the exceptional picture of the space with his/her mind/emotions that is unique and personal for every single viewer. This approach opens the room for reflection and consonance between the inner space of the viewer and the real gallery space.
